The Compliment Thread

Simple idea.

This thread is for the members of the CDS to compliment each other for whatever you find nice, pleasing or even slightly less than annoying about your fellow posters.

It can be a compliment about antything at all.

This could either be one of the shortest or one of the longest threads ever LOL!

Trav is one of the world's best cooks.

Gae is one of the world's best cleaner-upper-afters.

reason is tall and devastatingly handsome.

Lew has a wicked sense of humor.

Sluggo and jdf have charming significant others and children.

jumper and dd2 are about the nicest people you would ever hope to meet. The flowers are beautiful and bring me joy whenever I see them.

Nobody knows more about what's going on in this city than Cincygreg.

Raven and GL are the CDS Odd Couple and have made me fall out of my seat with paroxysms of laughter. I will never look at an Antonio Banderas love doll the same way.

And after yesterday's post, Pina is no longer even invited to bite me. To quote Buzz from Toy Story, " "You are a sad, strange, little man. You have my pity."

gae is welcoming and funny. She understands the organic lifestyle. And she usually gets the joke.

trav has enough spine that we can throw shit at each other and still make for good conversation. He likes my tomatoes.

Aurora is open minded, intelligent, and informed.

cincygreg is charmingly innocent, no matter how hard he tries to be otherwise.

GL is the fiestiest gay man I know. He also lives in a very nice trailer.

pina provides much needed balance.

Sluggo is the board's Mom. Ya just wanna give her a big hug.

jdf makes good tiramisu.

Sean Pa's ok. For a Brit.

jumper is remarkable in that he's never managed to raise my ire nor exhibit any characteristic which one can easily exploit.

Lew is methodical in his analysis. Nothing is off the handle.

I compliment all of you for being able to stay together this long. Back when this place was first started, Raven and I managed to assemble a pretty decent group of posters. Now, years and many many many boardcrashes later, it is great that you guys still find this place enjoyable.

The CDS has lost a few and gained a few, but it is still the best version of a true community that I ever found in Cincinnati.

Pina, who in the face of never decreasing abuse and personal attacks, still finds time to post some of the most articulate,entertaining and thought provoking articles on this board, and I should add all with substance, something increasingly rare on here. Sir I salute you.
